Rosary Audio Privacy Policy

Android · com.gigafishapps.rosaryaudio · Version 1.3.15 (25) · Updated November 1, 2026

Your prayer recordings work offline and your prayer calendar stays on your device. The app uses Google advertising services. This notice explains the information those services handle, the choices available to you and what happens when you contact support.

Who is responsible

Rosary Audio is provided under the GigafishApps trading name. We are responsible for the personal information handled by the developer as described in this notice. The business address is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@gigafishapps.com.

This notice covers the Android app with package ID com.gigafishapps.rosaryaudio, version 1.3.15 (25). It does not describe our other applications.

Your prayer stays on your device

You can listen without creating an account. The prayer recordings and illustrations are included in the app. Playing a recording does not upload your voice or contact a speech generation service. The app does not record you or request access to your microphone, contacts or precise GPS location.

The app stores your selected voice and listening preferences, your place in an unfinished prayer, completed prayer dates and mystery sets, and progress for special prayer occasions on your device. Local session references help prevent duplicate saves. We do not upload this prayer history, your place in the prayer or your chosen mysteries to our servers or to Firebase.

Prayer records can reveal religious practice. Keep access to your device secure. Android cloud backup is disabled for this release. Clear the app storage in Android settings or uninstall the app to remove its local records and preferences. Doing so also removes your prayer calendar and saved position.

Advertising and your choices

The free app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. An advertisement may appear at startup, on returning to the app or after a completed prayer has been saved. Advertisements are not displayed inside the prayer reader. The prayer remains available when an ad cannot be loaded.

Where applicable, Google presents a consent or privacy message before advertising requests are allowed. You can accept, refuse or manage the choices offered in that message. To revisit available choices, open Settings, then Privacy options, then Advertising choices. The available form depends on your region and Google's requirements. Refusing consent does not remove access to prayer. Some limited advertising may still be permitted without personalised advertising consent.

Google's advertising SDK can collect and share an IP address and approximate location, device or other identifiers, advertising and app interactions, and technical diagnostics. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and security. An advertising request identifies the app, which may itself suggest an interest in religious content. We do not attach your prayer calendar, chosen mysteries or prayer text to advertising requests, and do not create advertising audiences from your saved prayer records.

The consent form identifies the advertising partners and the purposes and legal bases they declare. You can manage device advertising identifiers in Android settings where supported. The SDK data is not anonymous simply because an identifier is random.

Further information is available in the Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps and the Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Usage statistics and crash reporting

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are not connected in this release. The app does not send usage statistics or crash reports to Firebase. The corresponding controls are unavailable in Privacy options. Advertising SDK measurement and technical diagnostics are separate and are described above.

If a future version introduces optional developer analytics or crash reporting, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate choices before enabling that processing.

Contacting support or reporting an ad

The app keeps the latest advertising response details locally to help identify an ad problem. A new response replaces the previous one. The details can include an ad response ID, format, SDK version and whether it was a test advertisement.

Report an ad problem lets you write a description and optionally select an image through the Android document picker. The app opens your chosen email application with a draft addressed to gigafishapps@gmail.com. It does not send the email automatically. The draft includes your description, the latest available ad details and the app version. Your selected image is attached only if you choose one.

If you send that email, we receive your email address, message and any included attachment and technical details. We use these to answer your request and investigate the problem. We may provide relevant ad response details to Google when needed to investigate the advertisement. Do not include prayer history or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for the support request. Providing support information is optional. We may be unable to answer a request if you do not provide the contact details or information needed to investigate it. Your email provider handles delivery under its own privacy practices.

Why information is used and who receives it

For information handled by the developer, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests, maintaining the app and investigating advertising problems. We use information to meet legal obligations when applicable. Advertising consent is requested where required. Where Google or an advertising partner acts as a separate controller, its notice and the available consent controls explain its processing and legal basis.

We do not make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell your local prayer records or upload them for advertising. Google and the partners identified in the consent message receive advertising information as described above. Our email service providers process support correspondence. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Retention and security

Local prayer records and preferences remain until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. The latest ad response record remains until replaced or app storage is cleared. Privacy choices remain locally and may be requested again when requirements or consent status change.

We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and related follow up, and for longer only when required for legal obligations or a specific dispute. We review the need to retain correspondence rather than keeping every message indefinitely.

Google determines retention for information it processes through its advertising services. See Google's retention information and its privacy controls. Google SDK communications use encryption in transit. Your selected email application and external websites have their own security and privacy practices.

International processing and your rights

Google and email service providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Their terms and privacy documentation describe the applicable transfer safeguards. See Google's data transfer frameworks.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, restriction of processing or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact privacy@gigafishapps.com about information held by the developer. We may need enough information to identify your correspondence and verify a request.

We cannot retrieve or remotely delete the prayer calendar stored only on your device. Use the Android controls described above to remove it. The app has no developer account to delete. Google's privacy tools and the advertising choices provide controls over information Google handles in its own capacity.

You may complain to your local data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office. You also have the right to complain directly to us at privacy@gigafishapps.com. This does not prevent you from contacting the regulator.

Children and changes to this notice

This release is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through support correspondence. Please contact privacy@gigafishapps.com if you believe a child has supplied personal information.

We update this notice when the app or its data practices change. The date and version above identify the release covered. Other installed versions may have different features. External pages and applications you choose to open have their own privacy notices.
